RANDOM JOY!

Hello All. Prize Maven here.

Today is a pretty neat day. It is, of course, the first of August. It’s also the day I finally arrived home from my long road trip with the kids. When I arrived, I found lots of wonderful prizes that had been forwarded to me by some of our wonderful prize donors.

Like Hand Dyed Lace Weight form Vicki,

and patterns from Joy Knits

and …. a package from Janet of Illinois. I can’t tell if this is prize yarn, or present yarn (or did I order this from someone?) I’m so confused — but I love it either way.

and… today is also the day folks over on the other side of the world from me (in China, Siberia… places like that) got to see a Solar Eclipse. Not a terribly common event.

So. I figured it ought to be a day when I tooled up the old Random Number Generator. It being such a special day, I went for a double dose.

Here’s what happened.

Linda_Shelhamer, one of our prize DONORS, won a copy of Piecework’s lace issue,

and a set of 20 stitch markers from Ronda Ben.

(I liked these so much, I bought a set of my very own.) (Linda, email me with your address and I’ll be sure these get to you.)

and then…..

escr, another of our prize DONORS, won her copy of the lace issue, and some yarn…. are you ready? — it’s the yarn donated by Linda!  I love coinkiedinks link that! (again… escr, please email me with your address….)

I’ve updated this with real images and more detailed information now that my brain remembers that we’re not driving at 70 mph — coding is safer that way!
