One FO, One not so finished.

I finished off my “I hate to swatch scarf”.  I ended  up using about 250 yds of lace weight and 1300 size 6/0 beads.  (I can’t believe I used that many beads!!)  It ended up being 8 inches X 66 inches.  I’m probably going to work on the little loops that I put on each end.  Probably add more bead loops through the one I’ve got.  It just doesn’t work for me the way it is.

I got clue 4 done on my MS9!!

The bad news is… that little ball at the top is all I’ve got left out of 1250 yards of lace weight!!  So there won’t be a clue 5 on this one.  I’m probably going to garter a couple of ridges and bind off.  It’s already 30 inches down  the middle and that’s a queen sized bed that it’s streched out on, so at least size is not a problem.  But I sooooo wanted to finish this!!  I guess I’ll do another one after the Ravelympics!!

Speaking of Ravelympics…. wish me luck!!!  I’m still trying to figure out why I’m crazy enough to try to do the Lyra in 17 days!!!!

  1. Gorgeous!!! Could you purchase another skein in a darker color and keep going??? I’m planning a big lace project for ravelympics too. If we’re going to be crazy, we may as well go all out!!!
