Does this count as lace?

I made a Farmer’s Market Bag…. does this count as (simple) lace?? (Us beginning lace knitters need all the practice we can get!)

I plan on making several more of these, they hold a TON!  I gave this one to my SIL, she loves it.

    Yep, that’s lace. If it’s got yo’s and decreases, it’s lace, even if it’s a market bag. Nice job. I like the yarn you used. My first lace was market bags, too. I have never photographed them. You are definitely ready to move on to more lace!

    I used almost an entire ball of Lion Cotton (from Lion Brand). Their web site lists it as having 189 yards in the multi color.
