Thanks. I’m with you. Much as I might like the idea of a project, I really want to enjoy the knitting itself. Does that make me a process knitter?

I really looked forward to knitting the Ene’s Scarf, an estonian based shawl/scarf by Nancy Bush. I got about 1/3 of the way through, maybe 1/2 way, because you start at the long edges and knit up. Anyway I realized I was bored to distraction, and hating knitting it. Well THAT”S not why I knit! It’s not a job, after all. I am much happier doing other things.
So one day I’ll sit down and frog it. But I’m never grimly knitting along until I finish something I’m learning to hate–too much bad energy to keep or give away the fo.
Just my thoughts on the matter…
