Woodland Fairy wings

I forgot to take a picture of the cast on for these, but I cast them on August 8th for the Olympics. I finished them today. I used 259 yards of the Elann Super Kydd, and Im not sure how much of the Deco Stardust. These 259 yds plus the 275 yds from my monkey socks equals another 500 yards for me or lace knitting. 1. The ties at the top go over the shoulder, cross on the chest, go behind the back, through a loop, back to the front and tie the loops are for her hands, to hold and spread her wings! I made these for her birthday, and will be trying to make a little version for her doll. I got this pattern on ravelry.

  2. Your “wings” are very pretty! Are they for a costume? How will it be used/worn? Are the lavender pieces at the corners for putting ones arms through?

    Please tell all!
