This was part of my Ravelympics projects. I started it while on vacation in SoCal — but didn’t bring it to Disneyland. Sort of wished I did since the lines would have gone by lots quicker, but with the throng of humanity around…maybe not.

this is lovely, too. Where can I find the pattern? Is it available only in a book?

  • It’s beautiful. You’ve reminded me how much I’ve been wanting to knit this. I may just need to break down and order the book.

Wow! You knit that quickly!! Very pretty.

  • Very nicely done! I love the color you choose.

    Lovely, lovely, lovely!
I *had* to order the book after seeing several versions of this …I’m hoping all the other patterns are just as exquisite…

The book is only (as far as I know) available from Schoolhouse Press…it’s in Icelandic? with an accompanying translation, hence the somewhat prohibitive price…

    Your shawl came out beautifully.

I just recently bought the book and this is one of the patterns I plan to do – someday. There are a number of lovely shawls in the book but this is one of the best. I am glad I have the translation as well though. It will make it easier to work out the details.
