This afternoon we received word from Meg and Tami at SchoolHouse Press that will be sending a copy of Meg’s Knitting Lace DVD and the lovely Icelandic lace-weight wool with which to knit the shawl whose pattern comes with the DVD!!! This is SchoolHouse Press’ second season supporting Seasons of Lace.


Last season, we send this wonderful DVD as the First Round Raffle Prize for Newbie Lace Knitters. Perhaps we’ll do that again. Any other suggestions for how to award this wonderful gift?

    I think that’s a WONDERFUL idea! It’s a terrific beginner lace video & covers many wonderful techniques. Plus, Meg’s style is so encouraging & the patterns included are super. I was introduced to the Faroese style shawl through this video.
