I’ve been working on this shawl since after Christmas. I like the pattern, don’t like the fact that it’s knit on both sides. So I got tired. I’m not a big fan of knitting every row, I kinda feel like I should have twice the shawl for it.

I really like the edging, it’s a bit unusual and has nupps at the end. While knitting, I kept thinking that this pattern looks really familiar, really familiar…uhmm.. frost flowers. duh. Anyway, it’s from my new-to-me copy of Pitsilised Koekirjad. I love this book. I’ll be knitting more stuff from it soon.
736yds of Colourmart cashmere/merino yarn was used.

I should add that there is no pattern, this is based on a couple of charts from Pitsilised Koekirjad. Thanks everyone for your kind comments.
I really like this! Its so flowy! What is the name of the pattern itself?
Oooohhh….that’s gorgeous! Love the pattern, love the yarn!
Estonia Lace is my favourite book too! I can’t wait to start one of the patterns. My next lace project after I finish the Forest Canopy Shawl and Alhambra is going to be a pattern in this book. I love the colour you chose for your shawl, it’s so beautiful!
That’s really beautiful! Great job.
It´s gorgeous, as usual! I have that book too, but for me it has been more “eye candy”, I don´t feel confident enough to start designing something of my own with those patterns.
You’ve knit a whole shawl since Christmas? Wow. And such a lovely one, too
That’s beautiful!
