Or not really, since I was on a business trip. I went to Riga for one night on a conference with very dense timetable- no shopping time. Still very enjoyable, even if no yarn-buying was involved:)
Notice the red blob in the foreground? Here you see my rusty laminaria looking out of the window of the small Fokker we flied with. She is currently admiring the curvy beaches of her land of origin, Estonia.
And here we are at the hotel where my newest test knit, a sock with similar blossom lace, is watching out to the Riga Old town.

I love the places your knitting is going – geographically and design wise! Okay maybe I’m a wee jealous!
Sligo and I are on the same wavelength – next season maybe a travel or vacation category could be made available??
