Hello to everyone. Sorry that I hadn’t posted sooner. My hard drive on my computer decided to quit. I had just purchased the computer about a month ago to replace my old one, and then the new one died. Good thing I kept the old one around. Still keeping it just in case!
I do have a couple of completed objects. First is Lyra:
I actually completed this last month and was able to post pictures on Ravelry right before the computer died. Thankfully, dead computers do not keep me from knitting. I do have more pictures posted on Ravelry and in my finished photo album on my blog. Here are the particulars:
- Pattern-Lyra by Herbert Niebling, reprinted by Lacis
- Yarn: Zephyr in Ruby 2/18 by Jaggerspun, used 6.5 ounces or 2015 yards.
- Needles: size 3.25 mm or US3
I also completed Aster by Niebling.
- Aster by Herbert Niebling, from Kunststricken: Große und kleine Decken
- Yarn: Spun Sugar in Love Potion from Yarn Chef; used 3 ounces or 900 yards
- Needles size 2.75mm or US 2
I will post more about current projects later. I have to catch up reading everything here!

I sympathise with the hard drive issues. Your Lyra is gorgeous!! I have the pattern but haven’t tried it yet. Too many other things….
These are gorgeous. Stunning!
Thanks! I had a lot of fun knitting them.
Lyra is one of my favorite lace patterns. Your Lyra is beautiful!
Thank you very much!
