I finished my monstrous project!!! I used the Wing of the Moth pattern, and instead of making it triangular, I made it square.

I used Miss Babs Yowza, a worsted weight wool. I used 2,400 yards!!! I am so loving this blanket.
And here’s my “Lace on Vacation” photo. It was taken in Big Sky, Montana.

I love knitting lace!

Lovely work. I see in this photo that your shawl uses the same pattern for the edge as the one I used in The Clovers perhaps with a slightly different treatment. It’s funny, because I wondered why I hadn’t seen it on a shawl before, its having such a graceful curve and all. Obviously, I just hadn’t seen enough shawls. Why was this a stealth project?
Wow! Beautiful work, and I love the yarn choice as well as idea of making the pattern square.
Wow! That is really pretty! Did you knit it as one big piece or 2 seperate ones that you seamed?
