Finally blocked the Miralda Shawl and the Yak/Silk fluffed up very nicely. Re-Cap. The book is from “Knitted Lace of Estonia Techniques, Patterns, and Traditions” by Nancy Bush. The pattern is “Miraldas Triangular Shawl”. The fiber I used was purchased from “A Verb For Keeping Warm” and is a 50/50 Yak/Silk in colorway “This is a new day.” using Addi Tubo US 6 needles. The pattern suggest a fingering weight yarn but I went lighter. Very quick and satisfying knit with interesting construction. You cast on the entire edge and then decrese at the center and either end to form the triangle ending stitches at the back of the neck of the shawl. Now maybe I can work on my UFO’s.

Absolutely gorgeous. I think I have to take a second look at that book. I wish I took such great pictures!
Holycow! That is outstanding!
Dear knitsbyteri,
The book has quite a few nice scarves and shawls and they are not that difficult either
Dear Lostcitydenise.
Thank you! It was lots of fun to knit
You caused me to pull the book off the shelf – again (it’s only been on the shelf about a week because it’s usually on the coffee table!) The patterns are stunning but I think your Miralda is even prettier than the one in the book!
Not that difficult – bwahahaha! Yeah. Uh huh.
