Not much lacy lace going on here right now, I’m more feeling the need to wrap up warm in cardigans!
I’ve just worn my newly finished February Lady Sweater for the first time today. It’s perfect for teaching in, not overly warm and sleeves that aren’t going to get covered in whiteboard pen.
I haven’t got anyone to take a decent photo of me wearing it, but it does fit, and is lovely on, though the lack of daylight is making photography tricky!
It’s knitted using Aracunia Nature Wool Chunky. I used about 6.6 skeins which is 850 yards to make the XXS, I just went down some needle sizes and got slightly more than the gauge in the pattern, and knew that I wanted slightly larger than the XXS.
Definitely a flexible pattern in terms of the wool you can use.

That looks fantastic. I’ve never wanted to make this before but it’s suddenly joined my queue.
Great sweater!!
