By I wanted to thank you for the lovely prize that I found in my mail when I returned from a ski trip last weekend. I am a little slow to say thanks because the prize was for supporting our sponsors and I wanted to show everyone the finished project that I started but didn’t get done in time. I bought the yarn for this from BBKnits and it has been wonderful to work with. I should also say that everyone who saw me working on this loved the yarn. It is sooo soft and the color is a really lovely blue.
This was a final test run of the pattern which I hope to have out on ravelry shortly. The first time I made this, I used a yarn that is no longer available. I hope BBKnits continues to carry this yarn and I can reference it in the pattern.
Anyway, thank you so much for the lovley yarn (I am not posting a picture because Shadow Dancer did when she announced the prizes). It was a wonderful surprise to return home to.

The yarn from BBKnits is Divinity Lace (the link go straight to that page) and the color is Seas of Adana. I love the blue and the yarn is a pleasure to work with. I have enough left to work up a scarf as well.
The yarn I won is a lovely 2-ply Wensleydale wool hand dyed in colorway Semi solid Slate.
