I ma now returning from my exile to non lace. I was knitting a pair of socks, that are almost identical to my mtoher’s which is awkward in the laundry room. Only she can tell them apart. Sigh. But they turned out well, to my surprise, and they fit quite comfortably. ALmost. tHe heels don’t like staying on my foot, and the ankle is not quite long enough. On my next pair of socks, those problems will be fixed.
But now, I am working on a baby banket, complete with lovely lacey holes in it. It’s not very far along, but that might soon be fixed. Depending on my reaction to the unexpected completxity and non-sense-making. I will include a picture for your enjoyment, when I figure out the computer skills necessary for that acheivment. Uploading things onto websites is not proving fun for me. But as soon as I can, there will be pictures of my progress.
