I finally have managed photos of the prizes I received last week, and want to share. I’m so looking forward to working with both!
This is the gorgeous Ultra Lace Weight I won from Sheldridge Farm. It’s Ultra Soft Touch Lace in Natural White. I guess Buffy was dreamy when she wound the skeins. she tells me I received a bonus of about 200 yards on each skein, for a total of about 1400 yards, which should be plenty for the Estonian Lace stole I plan for this yarn. I can’t wait to start. It is indeed Ultra soft, and has a gorgeous glow to it.
This is the little booklet of Shawl patterns from Joyknits. It’s full of nice schematics and instructions about different shapes, and should be a great resource. Thanks, Joy!
I have been knitting on some nonlace projects for the last three weeks, but expect to be back to my lace in about two days, and it couldn’t come any sooner. I have a stole and a semicircular shawl that I need to work up before the end of March, so I’m hoping to get them both to qualify for the winter season. If only so that I will finish early.
Love the projects I’m seeing so far.
