This is an Anne Hanson design. I used Schaefer Audrey in colorway Julia Child. It took
just about 700 yards. While it took me some time to get used to the chart, by the end I was able to knit this at the Loopy Ewe Spring Fling.

Lovely! Thanks for mentioning about the variegation – I’m on the lookout for a pattern to use with another fairly variegated yarn and your insight is very helpful.
that looks so beautiful! Especially the color.
Though I can hardly believe it’s supposed to be less then 800 yards!?
Have you linked the project on ravelry? I’d love to see a close-up on the pattern …
The project is on Ravelry. It is janineny2001′s Julia’s Caricia. The size that I knit was supposed to have used about 580 yards. I do have a closeup picture of the stitch pattern on my Ravelry project page. It is really a flower basket – tussie mussie – but it is also strongly geometric which is probably why the varigation did not overwhelm the pattern in my opinion. Thanks for commenting. This is my first “season” on this blog and I am still finding it a bit challenging to post pictures, etc.
Lovely!
Gorgeous….beautifully done!
