Last month I posted about my finished partial evenstar when I ran out of yarn. I started a new on right after that and finished it a couple of weeks ago but never got the posting written. This time I had more than enough yarn (silk instead of tencel) and will have to decide what to do with the remainder of the skein. I did add beads to the edging but not nearly as many as she had in the pattern (I only added at the points of the zig zag, not every other row).

Yummy! Good for you casting on another. I find that by time I get to the end of a circular shawl, and all those hundreds of stitches, I’m a little less enthusiastic about casting on another. Doesn’t last for long though
I can believe that you cast on for another one right away, since it’s so gorgeous, but I can’t believe how quickly you finished it. It’s beautiful!
Oh, that’s gorgeous! It looks stunning in purple.
I’m dying to know — what yarn is that? I love it. I’ve tried to resist, but I can’t take it any more. I want one JUST LIKE this one….
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to duplicate it exactly because the yarn was hand dyed silk from someone who isn’t around any more. HOWEVER, if it is the colors that you like, I have to tell you that the colors in SheepyTimes yarn Fairy Lace yarn in Twilight is REALLY close to this yarn. When I had the skeins right next to each other, it was hard to tell them apart. If she can duplicate the dying on lace weight silk for you, that would be an extremely close match. I hope this helps.
