I keep waiting for the perfect day to write a post and get pictures and junk. Realizing that day is not coming soon I’m just going to jump in. Imperfectly! I have not been doing much lace knitting becauseĀ I got embroiled in a knit along at the Loopy Ewe site. “Camp Loopy” was very [...]
This is my two-color Morlynn shawl for the first Camp Loopy challenge over at the Loopy Ewe. Cast on June 21st and finished July 11th. See my Rav page for more details: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/escr/morlynn-shawl—tuch
Cast on this beauty during the Winter season ( or is it Spring? Do we have a Spring season? I find it so hard to remember when the seasons start–at any rate around May 5th) and finished it as a gift for a lady at work. Couldn’t post sooner because some of my work buds [...]

I will get better pictures, because Emily deserves to be photographed well, but here she is blocking…

This has been my purse knitting since August and now my purse is lonely with no knitting to fill it! Here is the long view: Detail: And with its happy owner
At long last, Irtfa’a is done! Here is a picture of it blocking: I first began this shawl in January of 2008. So 3 months shy of 3 years it took me to knit this thing! I am glad to have it and glad to have knitted it, but equally glad to have it in [...]
