But my first doily I think it is so cute. I only used 148 yards on needle 2.5mm. This will be a gift for my mother to celebrate she just finished her chemo.

There are so many lovely patterns for doilies out there, so I had to give it a try. Although I have knitted a spanish armada in the round I strugle with the start. Once I found my 10cm (4 inches?) little Harmony woods I managed to get the stitches together.

Here’s my finished Feather Duster Shawl.  It was a really quick knit, and I like the ethereal look of the completed shawl. Knit in Grignasco VIP.  Don’t know who it’s for, but I’m sure it’ll be a holiday gift for someone!  400 yds of lace.
