Took an hour away from spinning and washing fleece to finish and bind off my beaded lace scarf the day before yesterday! I had one side done and the other almost finished and then needed to join the two and block! I’m happy with the outcome. Neither of these pictures shows the exact color–it’s not [...]
I really meant to post things before the summer season started but never got there so this will be a long post with lots of pictures of things I finished over the spring and into the start of the summer. This scarf was done in the spring and I am only showing it off because [...]
I continue to make steady progress on In Dreams. I cast this on during the off-season at the beginning of May, and have now reached clue 5. I am currently aiming for 7 rows a day to finish before going on holiday – we’re heading to the mountains so I’ll need something to keep the [...]
Hi I am new to this group and this is my first post. I stumbled upon this site by doing a google search for the Heliotaxis Pi shawl I designed. A friend had mentioned that there was a possible KAL, so I was curious. I didn’t design my latest lace project, but I did add beads to [...]
Cast on this beauty during the Winter season ( or is it Spring? Do we have a Spring season? I find it so hard to remember when the seasons start–at any rate around May 5th) and finished it as a gift for a lady at work. Couldn’t post sooner because some of my work buds [...]

I have two new lace patterns to share. They both use the same base stitch, an old Shetland lace border called Clematis. The first pattern, Clematis, is a triangular shawl that starts with the point and works its way up both sides as the center grows into a cuddly garter stitch center, and ends with [...]
I’m making substantial progress with the lace this time. First of all, I finished Damson 3 weeks ago, but was waking for my swap partner to receive it. I think at this point I can safely say Royal Mail have lost it, so here it is. I think it looks quite like a caterpillar! Secondly, [...]
