I finally finished Emily DIckenson. The only reason she languished so long was all that garter stitch. It just swam before my eyes! But, a dear friend turns 30 on Saturday, and I realized I wanted to give this shawl to her, so I just buckled down and knit! I love how it looks! I [...]
I really meant to post things before the summer season started but never got there so this will be a long post with lots of pictures of things I finished over the spring and into the start of the summer. This scarf was done in the spring and I am only showing it off because [...]
I will get better pictures, because Emily deserves to be photographed well, but here she is blocking…
I thought I was sitting on the bench this season… but the holiday knitting is well under control. Naturally that means I’ve cast on two lace projects! You know I just can’t leave the lace alone. Here is Anjou – knit in a sock yarn colorway that I call Persimmon, therefore the scarf is called [...]

So I´ve finished the lovely Anjou scarf and want to make something to go with it. What if.. I´d take the border and pear-part and knit a cuff and then pick up some stitches at the edge and continue in the round to make some fingerless mitts? Let´s try that!
ok… it´s me again folks. Is anyone else alive?!? Here is my Anjou finished and how lovely it is! I am sure my sis will love it. I want to knit matching something to it, so Iam now off to look for patterns……
I really enjoy this knit and the colours of Wollmeise just don´t seem to stop amazing me, although I am not personally a fan of orange. Sadly is my phone not able to reproduce the vibrancy of the colour, but I assure you it is lovely To share the love, I am donating one skein [...]
is my Peacock shawl progressing. See? I skipped one chart by mistake but the stitch count was still ok so I did not bother frogging as the shawl will be large enough anyway. I am now putting it aside for a while, cause christmas knitting has to be started. I just casted on Anjou, which [...]
