Welcome to the Prize Closet. This is the place where you can see all of the amazing prizes that Local Yarn Stores, Etsy Shops, Designers, Independent Dyers, and other Generous People have donated to help make Seasons of Lace – Autumn Lace 2009 more fun.
Several of our Prize donors have also provided DISCOUNTS to our members that are good during the season. Please be sure to check out those discounts, and to shop with our sponsors! Without them, we’d have an empty prize closet. Remember — if use our sponsors’ wares, and blog about it on SoL and you’ll qualify to WIN more prizes.

Our very own Whichy has pulled two skeins of Miss Babs “Yet” out of the Stash that Was Stitches and has put it in our Prize Closet. This is not quite lace-weight yarn made of 65% Merino Wool and 35% Tussah Silk. Lace weight yarns typically have 5000 or more yards per pound. This yarn has approximately 3200 yards per pound (ypp). According to Miss Babs, “this little bit of extra heaviness makes it a great choice for folks new to lace knitting, and still is a wonderful choice for those well-versed in lace knitting.” Each skein is approximately 400 yards and 2.3 ounces.
